A Blessing

May you remember what was spoken over you
before you knew how to speak for yourself.

May you rest in the truth that you were named
before you were assessed,
counted before you contributed,
received before you understood what you carried.

May the Spirit of God bear witness with your spirit
that you are not an orphan,
not an outsider,
not provisional or on probation—
but a son, a daughter,
belonging fully to the household of God.

May you live from the fact that you are already known
and already loved—
not because you have explained yourself well,
but because the Father delights to claim you.

May your identity be rooted not in effort,
not in approval,
not in alignment with any system or standard,
but in the unshakable word spoken over you:
You are mine.

May the Kingdom of God feel near to you—
not as a future reward,
but as a present reality—
where righteousness is gift,
peace is atmosphere,
and joy is strength.

May you grow into who you already are
without haste,
without fear,
without the burden of proving your place.

And may your life bear fruit
not from striving,
but from belonging—
as one who abides,
as one who is held,
as one who has always had a home.

Amen.
